Through strength in her faith and finding a relationship with her Saviour Jesus Christ, Yvonne has been able to boldly talk about her experience of being sexually abused and how the aftermath affected her life for many years. Crediting God as the source of helping her face the challenges on her journey from devastation to restoration, Yvonne has found peace, grace, and healing, which she hopes in turn will help others find the same. Yvonne has spoken at many different events and has done media interviews on Testimony Time on Revelation TV, Premier Radio ‘Woman to Woman’ show and ‘drive by’ show, and on various BBC London radio shows.

Daughter Arise holds a range of meetings and events, workshops, talks of interest, training courses and awareness sessions to benefit survivors of abuse, family and supporters, churches and organisations to enable them to get the help and support needed and to educate and raise awareness of how abuse affects others.
