SUPPORT GROUP

Daughter Arise started a support group in October 2014 which is held monthly. Please see below for the date of the next group meeting.

Support group runs from 7.30pm – 9.30pm in Brixton (10mins from tube station), St Pauls Community Centre, 24 Blenheim Gardens, Brixton, SW2 5BZ.

Directions On exiting Brixton Tube station, turn left. There will be a number of bus stops in front of you. Get any of the following buses up Brixton Hill and get off at Blenheim Gardens (3 stops from Brixton Tube Station)

Venue is 10 mins from tube station

Cross road and you will see Co-Opereative funeral services shop, the side road is called Blenheim Gardens. Take first right and your destination is 1 min in front of you at the end of road. (You will see Daughter Arise sign)

This outlet provides a space for female survivors of sexual abuse, emotional abuse and sexual violence to come together and find support and encouragement among people who have had similar experiences. Each session we do a mixture of things; activities, light discussion or have speakers in to share information on relevant topics. We will have a creche facility for those who might find it difficult to come otherwise and of course refreshments.

Each session will allow for 12 women so let me know. We welcome everyone regardless of background, religion or personal circumstances.
